We continue our journey of discovery and travel to Daylesford, deep in the heart of spa country, renowned for its natural mineral water springs. Enjoy lunch at the Daylesford Convent which boasts expansive views of the countryside and township below. Phillip Island, on Victoria’s South Coast, is home to a colony of around 32,000 Little Penguins. Each night, hundreds (sometimes thousands!) of penguins emerge from the surf and waddle across the beach at the world famous ‘Penguin Parade’. This full day tour includes a stop at Moonlit Animal Sanctuary where you’ll meet and handfeed many species of native Australian animals. Afternoon Tea will be provided by a local Inner Wheel Club before we make our way to the Penguin Parade. After visiting the penguins, we will stop for an Australian BBQ dinner before returning to Melbourne at 11.00pm.

The afternoon will be spent exploring Healesville Sanctuary, a zoo specialising in native Australian animals. A visit to Healesville Sanctuary is an opportunity to meet a Platypus, discover Australia’s majestic birds of prey and magnificent parrots in the spectacular daily show and journey along the boardwalk through the Manna Gums of the Koala Forest.

We set off from Melbourne on a River Cruise on Melbourne's shipping channels and Docklands on your historic journey, to the old maritime seaport of Williamstown. You will be greeted by local Inner Wheel Club members for morning tea and a guided historical walking tour. Explore this early colonial settlement, boasting a charming array of restaurants, cafes and galleries amongst picturesque gardens. Enjoy lunch with local Inner Wheel members at a Williamstown yacht club with stunning waterfront bay views before a return coach transfer to Melbourne.

After visiting Sovereign Hill in the morning, this alternative itinerary includes lunch at the historical Craig's Royal Hotel in Ballarat, Victoria’s third largest city. These days, long after the gold has run out, the city retains much of its rich gold heritage in the form of opulent buildings, fountains, and tourist attractions which celebrate the city's history. Wander through the historic town and main street bursting with character and local arts and crafts before we return to Melbourne.

To board the bus, you must present a valid ticket.

We recommend that you wear casual and comfortable clothing and bring a jacket. Please wear flat shoes suitable for walking. High heels are not recommended for all tours.

The Convention Secretariat reserves the right to adjust or change the Tour as necessary. A minimum number of persons per tour is required in order to operate.

The Convention Secretariat reserves the right to cancel the tour in the event of insufficient reservations. In the event that the Convention Secretariat cancels the tour, full reimbursement will be made.

Participants and accompanying persons are advised to purchase adequate coverage for health, travel and private liability insurance before departing their home countries. The Convention Secretariat cannot take responsibility for personal injury, loss or damage to private, personal property.
